This is my last blog and looking back on previous blogs they've been really random, I can't believe it's the end of the year it went by so fast.

I'm thinking a bout what to write about

I'm in History class and everyone is done with their final. I decided to do something productive and blog. I think it's dumb that they give us all this time and we always end up sitting bored sometimes I think that administration does it on purpose as some sort of insanity test.

French Final

MY french final was hella easy. It was mostly on verbs and writing, along with some listening comprehension. The exam had 100 questions on it.

I was planning on going to Puertro Vallarta, Mexico this summer,with some cousins from Mexico, but as previous blogs have stated I have summer work. So it really depends on how badly I want to go and how fast I finish my summer assignments.

APUSH Summer Assignment

Today after school I went to get my summer assignment with Raechel T. and we were the first ones there, suspecting that everyone was going to go tommorow after school but we were wrong and, basically a whole classroom size of people came in to get thteir work and we had a little mini meeting after school. The assignment is three decent sized packets. I plan on finishing them by the end of next month.

AP Language or Honors English?

I'm contemplating on wheater or not I should take Ap Lang, I have until friday to decide. I'm enrolled in honors English and I've heard people say that it's a good class to take to prepare you for AP Lit, which I'm planning to take senior year. On the other hand AP Lang will improve my writing ability and show me what a college level class will be like.

I've started my essay for the english final and it's coming along great. My prompt is easy to write about s it deals with things in history that I'm learning about in World History. The tricky part of the essay is finding unique ties between the historical things in history and how they are used in the book.

CSF Car Wash

The car wash Friday afternoon was fun. I got there at around 4:30 and the car wash was over at 7:30. When I got there nothing much was going on but as the day went on we got a decent amount of car, I think we washed around 8 cars. I would defenitly do a car wash again. I would suggest a different location though because it was almost in the mountains down Almaden road.

There's days when I get home and I'm so tired I fall asleep on the couch. When I wake up I feel even more tired and I feel too weak to do anything. I end up getting up and eating and doing my homework. I hate feeling like that though.

Final Project

So far we've been on track to finish our English final. We have to do the biographical and historical criticism and then we're pretty much done. I hope we take up all the 45 minutes. I also have to focus on another thing which is my science fair project, unfortunately.

Crazy Family

Sometimes I sit and think "what a crazy family". An example of this is when my aunt's came up from Mexico a month or so ago and they were talking amongst themselves and were talking about what they like to do on weekends. My aunt's are well into their thirties and are talking about going out on the weekend and partying. I personally think they're a little too old to be "partying" like they say. Another thing that cracks me up is how my family disciplines their kids. They either just yell profusely or yell and hit their kids. Pretty funny when you are watching it all happening.

Heat!

It's extremely hot today!! It reminds me of Mexico's intense heat. It's funny to say but I like to go out and do stuff when it's hot. Today, I went to the pool at my cousin's house and swam for hours the pool was refreshing and I even got a little tan going. I really like going to my cousin's house because we always end up doing something fun.

My so called life...

I was watching the last episode of my so called life on youtube last weekend and it's a shame how the show had only one season, the series doesn't seem complete, the last episode is upsetting, it leaves to many questions unanswered.

Today

Today, mother's day I'm going to a family reunion at my aunt's house in Morgan Hill. There's going to be a dinner and people talking about their lives, my family may also put on a video from a previous party or do karaoke. My family is crazy, these reunions are fun though, I don't know I just like being around family.

Science Fair Project

It seems like Ms. Carter is the only teacher who is having her students do the science fair, lucky me I have to do one. It's part of our grade , I assume. I really don't want to do a science fair project, the main thing is that I hope we don't have to go to the actual science fair.

UCSD

I really hope I can get into UCSD because it's seems like a chill school, it's close to the beach, and the school has a good medical program. Another plus is that two if my cousins go there and I have family in San Diego too. I'm excited for college.

The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter

When I first found out that my group chose to read "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter", I wasn't so excited to read it because I thought the synopsis at the back of the book was boring, but once I got into reading it I got into the plot of the book and now I like the book a lot, y group initially thought we should split the reading into three sections as the book has three parts but we ended up opting for all of us to read the whole book instead so we can understand the book more.

CST'S

I'm so glad we finished testing. I was stressing over the world history test because my class hasn't had a permanante teacher all year, we've had sub after sub, making it hard for us to learn. I knew some stuff on the test and other material we never studied in class. The math test wasn't as bad as I thought but it was still tough because I suck at math.

"thing", there a "work of art" as she says and has an obsession with them. She's sitting here next to me right now... blurting things out.

....Flu

I've noticed that a lot of people have been talking about this flu and I haven't heard much about it. They're saying that it's deadly and there all cautious about who's aroungd them and whose not.

I had a really bad headache yesterday and I took a vikadin to relieve the pain. I fell asleep shortly after and woke up at around 8'oclock.

Bibliothèque

I'm in the library right now with Nina, we're blogging because were responsible students*, well at least Nina is. Decided to do the blogs now so I won't procrastinate later on and eventually not do them.

Benchmark

Today I finished taking my chemistry benchmark and overall it was okay. The second part was tough because there were things on it that we didn't go over in class. I'm not too worried on what my final grade will be on my test because my teacher gave us previous benchmarks to work on and every question we answer correct will go to our benchmark grade.

I'm relieved that driver's ed. is over, I was barely passing the weekly tests. It was hard to study because we had to do these long packets. Although the packets were easy, I was concentrating too much on the packets than studying them or the driver's booklet. Thankfully, I passed the final test and got my pick slip.

Yesterday was so hot, I was inside most of the day but stepped out briefly to get some air. When I open the door a gust of warm heat, weather these days is really odd.

French

I'm in french class right now, we have to present a project about our future car or dream car. I chose a BMW, black exterior and black leather seats inside. Other kids did some bizarre cars like a car that's half shark and half metal that forms a car.?

Weekend

This weekend was really fun, I went to my aunt's house on saturday, it was my cousin's birthday. The party was fun, it was a typical family party, adults drinking and yelling, and there's always that drunk uncle. It was a fun party. On Sunday I stayed at home, reading the last chapters of animal farm, I really liked the last chapters of the book, some sad scenes occurred in the book but overall an okay book.

I think I'm taking honors english and not AP literature because the work for the summer is a lot, I'm already taking AP us history, I don't want to be cooped up at home studying all the time and not having a life.

Electives

I wish they had more elective choices the only class I want to take is French or mock trial. I'm thinking of leadership but I'm too lazy to wake up, I still have to choose one more as my fourth choice I'm thinking of taking digital photography.

Weekend

My weekend was really cool. I went up to Berkley, telegraph ave. and walked around with friends ,we went to go eat at a Japnese restaurant. the food there was really good. (= I had a bento box, which had the best tempura I've ever had and the teryaki chicken was awesoume.

Class Selections

I'm overwhelmed with all the class choices there are for next year. I know what core classes I'm takling except for math. I don't know if I should take physics or AP biology. People say that both classes are hard and others say they're not at all.

On saturday morning I woke up to my mom watching the housewives of New York on television and I was thinking in my head "what's so interesting about that show?, don't get me wrong I like reality t.v. but that show annoy me. From what my mom tells me it's about some rich ladies who like start drama over dumb things.

Time Change

Today went by really quick as we lost an hour. It sucks because I got used to the time we had before, we don't go back an hour until November. Anyways today was a good day even though I got a late start.

I've been behind in blogging these past weeks, I really need to get into the swing of doing blogs on a weekly basis again. If I continue getting behind, well my grade will suffer. It's also not that I don't like to blog it's just that I don't know what to blog about.

Thermochemistry

Is really easy, at least to me, it's basically plugging in numbers to formulas. I'm so happy were doing something different than molar mass and stoichiometry. 

Weekend

My weekend was really good, I hung out with some friends from middle school on Saturday, we went to San Fransisco, it was tight! I had a really good Carmel apple.(= We also went on the trolley and walked around. 

Driver's Education

I woke up really early today because I decided to finally do driver's ed. It was odd waking up this morning, I woke up at 5:45 to get to the class early because I've been told that it gets full quick. It wasn't this morning, we watched a video on what to do when encountering a life-threatening situation, it was really cheesy. 

Zodiac Killer

I watched "The Zodiac Killer" and I found it very scary, because he was a serial killer in the bay area. I was happy to inquire that he died, unfortunately by a heart attack and not law enforcement, it was a really good movie full of suspense and thinking of who the rea; zodiac killer is as there are many potential suspects.

Hydrogen Powered Cars

Should be put out on the market, in History today we had a conversation on the decline of oil supply over the next 50 years and having to find an alternate resource to power cars. Hydrogen as a resource has been proven to power cars efficiently and not pollute the atmosphere. 

Have to read..

I'm stressing right now because we have to have read the book "Night!!" I haven't yet, I'm on page 82, I'm in history now trying to read the book while doing some classwork.

World History

I'm in world history right now, my easiest class. I'm sitting next to Sara Jaramillo, who keeps on laughing and texting! She never does her work, she always finds something more important to do than classwork, like eating. She ends up doing her work last minute. Surprisingly she's doing her classwork today.

Future Career

I really want to be a pediatrician, I've always had the mindset of having a career in the medical field. Becoming a pediatrician was the one thing I know I'll like, I couldn't be a plastic surgeon or anything that has to do with cutting people open or anything in that category. A plus in being a pediatrician is that they make a lot of money. 

Night

I really like the book were reading in class now. It's very interesting, though sad at the same time. I can't believe how cruel people can be toward other people, what gives people the right to kill people based on physical appearance and beliefs? 

Geometry..a breeze, for now.

I really like Geometry right now, because it's so easy! We're focusing on naming polygons and their properties. We've had some really simple and short quizzes too, it awesome I wish it were this easy all year.

Chemistry Test

I had the hardest chemistry test on Friday. It was on molar mass. I can't believe it, my mind went absolutely blank when the test was in front of me, it asked questions about a given chemical formula and what we can infer from it. The end of the test was worse because it was all written questions that involved conversions like: moles-->moles, moles-->grams and etc. I didn't know the conversions by heart. It really was the hardest test I've had to date.

Life after Death.?

Have you ever had a moment in which you feel your frozen and think of where you go after death or what happens after death? I have these moments and it scares me a lot. I hate thinking about it,  I know death is inevitable but, I can't help but wonder if there really is life after death.

Weird Whether

I noticed that the whether lately has been sunny, clear skies, and warm. That's odd for January, unless we lived in south America or something, I might be over analytical, but I really can't think of anything to blog about than the obvious.

Don't know what to blog about so, I'll improvise?. Umm.. so!, inauguration day is tomorrow!! Thank god we're going to have a new president, Bush really f#!@#^ up our economy. Hopefully Obama can ameliorate America's burden of high gas prices and other things that fall under the category of the economy. t

Weekend was sick!, I went to go see the movie The Mall Cop, it was a pretty good movie. I also went to my cousin's house down in Morgan Hill and chilled, we went to Oakridge mall and went to this place called Yoberry, surprisingly good, for it being non-fat yogurt.(= The great thing is that we have tomorrow off too.! I love not going to school lol, I'm just lazy.

*First Love....

My first love wasn't really a first love, it was more of a big crush. It was in 8th grade and her name was Angela, she was so pretty, the way she laughed, combed her hair in class so gracefully, and spoke with assurance. I remember the first day I saw her, she stood out like a person wearing neon pants on a rainy day. She was just the right size, not too tall and not too short, she had flowing light brown hair and a radiant appearance, in general. I had several classes with her, but never had the courage to go speak to her, until we were partnered up to work together on a science project.

I had butterflies in my stomach every time I would go sit next to her. When we would speak, I wanted  to burst out and say "I like you!!" We had many things in common like: we were both in orchestra, she plays the violin and I play the cello, both of our birthdays are in March, hers (March 1st) and mine is (March 2nd), like similar music, and we both have the same favorite color, green. As time went on throughout the year we spoke more and more, and we became really good friends.

I will never forget the year that I had my first crush, it was definitely the best year in middle school. I recently told her that I had a crush on her, I was so nervous when I told her, she took it rather well, she was silent for a second, then laughed and said "thanks for being honest, it took you long enough." Luckily it didn't ruin our friendship, in fact it bettered it as we talk more often and hang out: over the summer, weekends, and school events. 

The weekends

Go by too fast!! I can't wait until our next 3-day weekend. I hate mondays because I have to go to bed early and yeah, they just suck, anyway my weekend was sick, I had lots of fun, I went to San Francisco and walked around the pier and union square.

I can't wait.!

'Till spring break I really want to see my family in Mexico, I love being around family because it's fun and I always have a great time. I also want to go to Mexico because there's always something you can do there and there is always something fun happening there.

I've been very lazy this week, I missed yesterday because I had a really bad sore throat and nasal congestion. The doctor told me not to drink so many cold liquids, and to rest. I've been  trying to take a nap after school but I just can't. It's funny because every time I wake up the first thing I think of is sleeping again, haha, and when the time comes to sleeping I'm not tired.
